01 — ARRIVING

Park once. Stay put.

You come in off the coast road with the bay already lit, and the last of it is a sealed drive under the pōhutukawa. The door opens on a code we send you the morning you travel. No key handover, no meeting anybody.

02 — THE HOUSE

One long room, facing the water.

Board-formed concrete, dark cedar battens and glass across the whole sea elevation. It is one storey, so nothing in it is more than a few steps from the sand.

03 — THE ROOM

The sliders open and stay open.

Sleeps six across three bedrooms

The whole seaward wall slides away, so the room and the deck become the same space. The fire is laid before you arrive, for the evenings when the wind comes round.

Tideline House is a three-bedroom pavilion on a pōhutukawa terrace above the beach at Hāhei, Coromandel Peninsula. It is let whole, to one group at a time, and only ever booked directly with us.
