How many people can stay?
Six, across three bedrooms. We do not take larger groups, and the house is never split between parties. If you are five adults and a baby, tell us and we will sort a cot.
What does it cost?
From $680 a night in the shoulder seasons and from $940 through January and the Christmas period, for the whole house. Three-night minimum, five nights over New Year. No cleaning fee and no service fee, because you are booking with us directly.
Why book direct instead of on a listing site?
The same house is cheaper here, because nobody is taking a cut. You also get a cancellation policy we set ourselves, and you can ring us with a question at eight in the evening and get an actual answer.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation and a full refund up to 14 days before arrival. Inside 14 days we refund whatever we manage to rebook. If the road is closed and you cannot get here, you are not charged.
How does check-in work?
Self check-in from 3pm on a door code we text you the morning you travel. Checkout is 10am. If the house is free either side, we will usually stretch both.
Is the pool heated?
Yes, and it is on the whole time you are here. It sits around 28°C year round. There is nothing for you to switch on.
How far is the beach?
The terrace ends at a private path down to the sand, about forty seconds from the deck. It is the same beach the house looks at, and it is public, so it is never yours alone in January.
Can we bring a dog?
One well-behaved dog, with a note from you first. There is an outdoor shower by the deck for the sandy ones.
Is there decent internet?
Starlink, and it holds up to video calls. People do work from here for a week at a time.
