BEFORE YOU BOOK

The questionspeople ask.

Answered properly, so you are not guessing at the thing that decides it.

Straight answers.

How many people can stay?

Two in the master suite, or up to four if you take the whole house. The house is never split between parties. Whichever you book, you are the only group here.

What does it cost?

Rates are on request and depend on the season and whether you are taking the suite or the whole house. Message us with your dates and you will get a total for the stay, with nothing added on top of it.

Is there a minimum stay?

Four nights. Whole-house hire is by prior arrangement, so talk to us before you plan around it.

Is breakfast really included?

Yes, and it is cooked. Dinner is separate: three courses at $125 per person, tailored to what you like and what is in season, served in your own dining room. Wine, beer and spirits are on site.

Why book direct instead of on a listing site?

Nobody is taking a cut, so the same house costs you less. You also get the chef on the phone rather than a call centre, which matters when the thing you want to change is dinner.

How does check-in work?

Check-in is from 1.00pm and checkout is 11.00am. You are booking with the owner directly, so if your flight lands awkwardly, ask.

Can we bring children?

No children under 16 unless it has been arranged with us first. The house is on a steep forested site with a lot of glass and a lot of collected things in it.

Can you organise activities?

Yes. Luc 22’s preferred operator is Wildlight Safaris, who run private guided walks, photography tours and helicopter hikes with your own guide. Book them when you book your stay, and book early because dates go.

Is there parking?

Free, on site, right at the house. A two-wheel-drive car is fine.

This unofficial example does not take enquiries for Luc 22. You can try the demonstration form or talk to Direct Stay Guru about a working version for your property.

A REAL HOUSE. AN UNOFFICIAL WEBSITE EXAMPLE.

The guest is yours. The stay is yours. The money should be too.

Every night you sell through a listing site, somebody who has never seen your place takes a slice of it. A site like this one is simply yours. Guests find it, they book on it, and the whole payment lands with you.

If you own a bach, a lodge or a holiday home, send me a message and tell me about it. I’ll tell you what I’d build and what it would cost, and it costs nothing to ask.
