The master suite

A private upstairs bedroom, lounge and ensuite made perfectly for two. Sophisticated neutrals, natural textures and treasures collected from all over the world. Fine cotton bedding and good pillows, and a wall of glass that gives you the lake and the mountains from the bed.

The ensuite

The living room

Floor-to-ceiling glass down the lake face, old recycled Australian ironwood beams overhead, deer mounts on the cedar, and a Norwegian Jotul woodburner sitting on an irregular slate hearth. This is where everybody ends up: it is the heart of the house.

The kitchen and table

Copper fittings, a Smeg retro fridge, a classic English AGA for slow cooking and an old Belgian blue stone trough sink. It is a working kitchen, because the person cooking in it has spent his life in them. Dinner is served in your own dining room, looking down the lake.
